The analysis of inconsistencies identified in the process of confirming the competence of testing laboratories and compliance of their activities with the accreditation criteria and requirements of GOST ISO/IEC 17025-2009 is presented. To develop systematic proposals to ensure confidence in the results of tests performed by testing laboratories accredited in the national system, to improve their performance in order to recognize the results of their tests at the international level, it is necessary to classify nonconformities by the degree of their impact on the results of laboratory tests, to identify the facts of non-compliance with the established requirements for laboratory activities and possible causes of their occurrence
